chapter 20 ~
(Okay, so were skipping forward to after the plane and going to them unpacking and such)
Nicks POV
Nick: Im so glad were finally here.
Carly: I know, Im so excited, Ive never been to California before
Nick: really? You never have?
Carly: Nope
Nick: Well then cmon!(a.n. That was weird...I think nicks hyper)
I grabbed her hand and starting leading her towards the front door
Carly: Nick, where are we going?
Nick: Im going to show you around LA.
I looked at her and smiled
Nick: After all, I am an expert
Carly: Since when did you become and expert on LA?
Nick: *jokingly* since I became a famous rock star, duh
Before we walked out the door I yelled to Joe that we were leaving, it sounded like he mumbled something about walrus(a.n. Today we had a discussion about walruses in Spanish, it was started by the same guy who, yesterday, started a discussion about desks made of kittens...) but I didnt hear him.
Carly: So, since youre the expert where are we going?
She asked as I opened the car door for her.
Nick: I cant tell you.
Carly: Why not?
I closed her door and leaned through the window and smiled at her
Nick: Its a surprise
Carly: Cmon, Nick tell me.
Nick: Sorry but you have to wait and see.
Carly: Please nick?
She moved her face closer to mine.
Nick: sorry, no
Carly: Please?
She moved her face even closer, so I could feel her breath on my face. God, this was not fair.
Nick: Thats not going to work Carly
Too bad it was.
Carly: Cmon just tell me.
She smiled at ruffled my hair.
Nick: No. Its a surprise.
I quickly pulled away from her and moved to the other side of the car and got in the drivers seat.
Carly: Fine. Dont tell me.
Nick: Trust me, Carly. Youll be glad I kept it a surprise.
Carly: Okay fine.
We drove for about 20 minutes, talking and all that jazz, when we arrived at our destination(a.n. ????)
Carly: WOA! DISNEYLAND!
Nick: yea, I thought youd like it, since youve never been. And when we were kids we said we were going to go together since-
Carly: our moms wouldnt take us
Nick: yea, you remember?
Carly: Of course I do.
Nick: good, well then lets go! (a.n. Everybody are you ready for the Disney channel games?!?!)
We spent a good 4 hours in Disneyland and California Adventures. I took Carly on all my favorite rides, we ate one of those turkey legs together(a.n. What is with those things?), took a picture with Mickey mouse, all without getting mobbed by any fans(a.n. They probably stood behind Asians...)
