All Dogs Go To Heaven (1989) [Part 8][Final Movie]
Description: All Dogs Go to Heaven is a 1989 animated film directed and produced by Don Bluth and released by United Artists. The film tells the story of a dog, Charlie B. Barkin (voiced by Burt Reynolds), who is murdered by his gangster business partner Carface Carruthers, but who forsakes his place in Heaven to return and take revenge. On his return he frees a young orphan girl, Anne-Marie, who Carface was holding captive because of her ability to talk to and understand animals (giving Carface insider information about whom to bet on in races). At first Charlie means to exploit Anne-Marie's gift too, but soon comes to learn he will have to change his ways if he is to earn his place in Heaven again.
The film was produced at Sullivan Bluth Studios in Dublin, Ireland, funded by UK-based investors Goldcrest Films. On its cinema release it competed directly with an animated feature released at the same time, The Little Mermaid produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation. While it did not repeat the box-office success of Sullivan Bluth's previous feature films (The Secret of NIMH, An American Tail and The Land Before Time) it was very successful on home video, becoming one of the biggest-selling VHS releases ever. The film inspired a theatrical sequel, a television series and a Christmas direct-to-video film.

LYRICS:
yesterday I heard the news
that 4 million russian children are homeless
theyve been abandoned by the people they trust
now their cold and lonely lifes are hopeless
children round the world are dying
people say they care theyre lying
if this life was theirs theyd be crying
is it really fair were not trying
yesterday I heard the news
that 20 million asian children are homeless
theyve been abandoned by the people they love
theyve been beaten down so hard they cant get up
children round the world are dying
people say they care theyre lying
if this life was theirs theyd be crying
is it really fair were not trying
born free were born free
while others have to struggle to survibe
some of us are born free were born free
while others have to fight to stay alive
some of us are born free were born free
dont they deserve to have a better life
some of us are born free were born free
only you can change these things in time
life is beautiful for some, life is beautiful for us
life is isnt beautiful for them, maybe life can be beautiful again
for them.
