Description: Me singing Someone to Watch Over Me...I think this is one of the first theater songs I learned to sing, (save the soundtracks to Disney films and The Sound of Music if you want to count those). I was all set to sing some Katy Perry, or maybe Sara Bareilles...something popish and not theater...haha. I've been in the mood to do something different here for a while, and didn't even warm my voice up before singing this (I know...bad Traci!) b/c I was going for a breathier sound, buuuut of course my internet chose to not be kind to me, and I couldn't access any karaoke via youtube or itunes, so it was either sing something I already had a track for or wait....so I thought, what the heck...haven't sung this one in a while! At least I've got something to upload for now, and I really do love this song, it just wasn't what I originally planned to sing, but it's all good! It was fun! But believe you me...some Katy Perry is coming atcha soon! I am obsessed with her CD. There is so much more to her than "I Kissed A Girl." Off the subject but since I've noticed my hair inspires almost as many comments as my singing, just thought I'd answer the inevitable question that always comes up when my hair looks different in a video....Yes, that's my real hair, and no, I didn't cut it, (it's just pinned up). Haha. Hope I saved you a few clicks! hehe! I was playing around with hairstyles...being a stylist of sorts I do that sometimes...I saw this girl on tv with a hairstyle similar to this and loved it, so I thought I'd try...for some reason though it turned out more retro looking than I expected but it was fun! So I shoved a flower in and went with it...looks like I might be doing some hair and makeup for weddings soon and it's always good to come up with new styles right? I am always experimenting. Well I have quite a few videos in the works right now, but hopefully some of you guys enjoy this while I work on them. I know this isn't my best...it was a quickie but any chance to sing makes me happy! Thanks for listening and watching.
