disney campaign
Description: this is the first video i have ever made/edited. Other then some funky lighting in a couple shots, i thought it turned out pretty well for my first try. I was going to make it for my portrait of a location project for my intro to visual storytelling class, but it had to be maximum one minute and no soundtrack, so i made another video the way i originally had planned. im also hoping to use it for my disney campaign project for my advertising class at the end of the year.
Special thanks to Emmett for company and help filming, Willough for the ideas for the last shot, and Nick for helping me with the software.

Description: The Walt Disney Company announced their newest advertising campaign on Thursday and revealed that if you come to Disneyland or Disney World on your birthday, you will be granted free (yes, FREE) admission into the parks. This will no doubt be an extremely popular campaign.
The free birthday offering is just the icing on the cake for Disneys newest marketing campaign which targets Celebration Vacations. The press release explains that In 2009, Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts will lead this growing trend with new entertainment and services that allow guests to turn their personal milestones into magical Disney experiences.
But thats not all, Disney will promote over 200 experiences at Disney World alone, ranging from Breathtaking (magical fireworks cruises, sunrise safaris, diving the depths with undersea creatures) to mirth-making (Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, character dining, kids pirate adventures). At Disneyland Resort, celebrants can book more than 50 magical experiences including My Disneyland Birthday Party and guided tours that reveal Walt Disneys inspiration for Disney Parks.

First Free Birthday Admission enters Magic Kingdom
Description: Congratulations to Andrew DaCosta who was the first guest to enter any US Disney theme park using the free admission thats part of Disney Parks What Will You Celebrate? campaign. DaCosta used an oversized park ticket created for the occasion to enter the Magic Kingdom.
DaCosta, who turns 49 today, redeemed his Free On Your Birthday registration at the Magic Kingdom Guest Relations window at 7:31 a.m. Jan. 1 is the first day of the What Will You Celebrate? campaign at both Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disneyland Resort in California.
