Where The Wild Things Are - Early DISNEY CG Animation Test
Description: 1983 animation test by Disney, directed by John Lasseter (who went on to direct and produce most of the Pixar films, including Toy Story). Back then Disney owned the film rights to the Where The Wild Things Are books... they didn't use them, though, so they lost them. Check out this amazing test, which combined traditional hand-drawn, 2D animation with then-state-of-the-art 3D computer animation!

1981 Early Computer Graphics
Description: This is a COMPILATION of several computer generated videos made by a company called Triple I (short for Information International Incorporated) that was shown to Disney Executives to convince them a movie called "Tron" could be made. Part of a Mercedes commercial, the famous Utah Teapot, and several other well known short videos can be seen. The video was shown to Disney in 1981 and the movie was released in 1982.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Prank Calls Gateway Kim Possible Style
Description: I am praying that this works. So what I did was download the legendary clip from an Arnold Schwarzenegger internet soundboard skit. The phone prank targest a Gateway Computer support personnel and gives the poor young lady trouble. That was funny enough, and, whilst inspired by the hilarious soundboard prank clip of Arnie phone pranking of an Indian Restaurant, I decided to mash it with a presumably innocent cartoon show, that being the Disney Channel Original Series Kim Possible. On a side note, you can find the Indian Restaurant prank call in my favorites. In replacement of the actual people, I exchanged Professor Steve Barkin with Arnold Schwarzenegger's Voice and Kim Possible with the young lady in the tech team center. I used MS Paint to morph the mouths to the desired shape, and then used Windows MovieMaker to combine the various clips with synchronism. Hopefully YouTube will not screw me over like it has done in the past. If it is asynchronous, I will have to remove the clip. Regardless, over 600 frames were compiled against two minutes of time. It took many hours over the course of two days to complete. These images can be found at: http://caps.kpfanworld.com/index.php The result: two minutes of HILARITY. NOTE: ALL of the work into compiling the clip is mine, and considering the technical difficulty into perfecting it, this may be the only time I may post a work similar to this. I did not however deliver the prank call. I got that from www.realmofdarkness.net, a high quality site featuring many celebrity prank phone calls and soundboards. Besides, I am a good citizen who abides by the law and would never harm anyone. I just thought this was funny. The idea was mine. The funny random concept was mine. The compilation is mine. The work is mine. I have neither given nor received any unauthorized aid, nor have I witnessed a violation of the Honor Code. Rated PG for language and immaturity. XD Signed, Big Brother Mateyka P.S. The Adventures of Andre & Wally B
Description: The Adventures of André and Wally B. is an animated short made in 1984 by the Lucasfilm Computer Graphics Project, which would later be spun out as a startup company called Pixar. Although it is technically not a Pixar short, the animation was by John Lasseter, who was working on his first computer animated project and would move on to be a pivotal player at Pixar. The credits for the piece are concept/direction Alvy Ray Smith, animation John Lasseter, technical lead Bill Reeves, technical contributions by Tom Duff, Eben Ostby, Rob Cook, Loren Carpenter, Ed Catmull, David Salesin, Tom Porter, and Sam Leffler, filming by David DiFrancesco, Tom Noggle, and Don Conway, and computer logistics by Craig Good. The animation on the feature was truly groundbreaking at the time, featuring the first use of motion blur in |CG animation. Lasseter pushed the envelope by asking for manipulatable shapes capable of the squash and stretch style, as earlier CG models had generally been restricted to rigid geometric shapes. It was rendered on one Cray X-MP/48 (where 48 stands for 4 processors and 8 million words of internal memory, with word size of 64 bits (i.e. 8 bytes) it means its RAM size was 64 MB) and ten VAX 11/750s from Project Athena.
