Disney '46 - Story Of Menstruation
Description: A basic explanation of the purpose and process of menstruation, told largely with diagrams (and completely avoiding the subject of sex). It was co-produced with Kotex to teach pre-teen girls about Menstruation, supposably. It only educates at a superficial level, so it does not go into heavy detail for the animated "Ram's Head"/ Reproductive System sequence. The Story of Menstruation is believed to be the first film to use the word vagina in its screenplay.

Disney Classics 2
Description: This video is a little different from the first Disney Classics video, but still holds the same meaning. The begining of the film, we are transported to the beauty of Africa as we see clips from "The Lion King". Then we suddenly go to Greece, where we see the love hardships of Hercules. As the song suggests, many Disney characters refuse to give into love, such as Beast, Mike Weslowski, Donald Duck and more. Then we travel to the Motion Picture world of Disney as we visit the first and remake of "Parent Trap". As their counterparts try to influence them into love, our love-denying Disney characters fight against love until they finally give in, and all the characters of Disney come together in LOVE. One of the famous love stories, "Beauty and the Beast" comes to life as we begin to travel from Disney movie to Disney Movie. Suddnely we see Snow White and her wishes for love, then Sleeping Beauty seeks love and eventually finds it. In the end, we see all the famous couples and love stories of Disney come together as Mickey and Minnie seal the deal with a kiss! The medley of songs are copyrighted to "Disney on the Record" Broadway Show and Soundtrack. Enjoy!!!

Where The Wild Things Are - Early DISNEY CG Animation Test
Description: 1983 animation test by Disney, directed by John Lasseter (who went on to direct and produce most of the Pixar films, including Toy Story). Back then Disney owned the film rights to the Where The Wild Things Are books... they didn't use them, though, so they lost them. Check out this amazing test, which combined traditional hand-drawn, 2D animation with then-state-of-the-art 3D computer animation!

Walt Disney - Ferdinand The Bull - 1938
Description: This Oscar-winning short tells of a bull who preferred to sit under trees and smell flowers to clashing horns with his fellow animals. As luck would have it, an untimely bee reveals Ferdinand's ferocious side via pained howls and wild stomping. This lands him in the bull-fighting arena amidst characters based on Walt's animators with a matador reportedly modeled after Walt himself.

Mickey Mouse Monopoly: Disney, Childhood & Corporate Power
Description: http://www.mediaed.org The Disney Company's massive success in the 20th century is based on creating an image of innocence, magic and fun. Its animated films in particular are almost universally lauded as wholesome family entertainment, enjoying massive popularity among children and endorsement from parents and teachers. Mickey Mouse Monopoly takes a close and critical look at the world these films create and the stories they tell about race, gender and class and reaches disturbing conclusions about the values propagated under the guise of innocence and fun. This daring new video insightfully analyzes Disney's cultural pedagogy, examines its corporate power, and explores its vast influence on our global culture. Including interviews with cultural critics, media scholars, child psychologists, kindergarten teachers, multicultural educators, college students and children, Mickey Mouse Monopoly will provoke audiences to confront comfortable assumptions about an American institution that is virtually synonymous with childhood pleasure. Interviewees include Henry Giroux, Diane Levin, Gail Dines, Elizabeth Hadley, Carolyn Newberger, Alvin Poussaint, and Justin Lewis.
